Trailer Analysis Questions (500 words)

The typical codes of the film trailers are the key moments from the film which are not necessarily placed in the same order as the film and do not give away any crucial plot details some trailers are giving away too many details. The title of the film is not usually put on the screen until the end of trailer often followed by the release date.
There is a particular technique to appeal the audience that it is important as it lets the audience to know who they will expect to see in the upcoming film. The audience will often decide they want to see the film because mostly of the popular actors in the film and the directors and producers and how the films looks from the adverts in the streets. The way the scene has been edited they don’t give away who the narrative is because they want people to find out information about them first and be intrested.  All the main popular stars in the film are visible because it is important that they are in the trailer because they are the main stars and they have to take part they are the most important stars that people are looking at in the film. There is information about the director of the film because he set up this film and there must be details about him so people know who he is and there is a release date for this film. The narrator’s voice may be over used because it sounds scary.
The genre of the film is that the setting of it is in USA. The lighting is a type of a scary dark colour so that the film lighting stands out and it makes it look like a proper scary film and the colours are red, black all of them type dark colours that are suitable for a horror film. The camera shots are taken in different type of effects to make the view look interesting for example black and white effects.I get a better idea from the film because from the poster I only see information about the film and the actors and producers also the actors little amount of information on the poster in the film you can see the full version of the film and the editing’s and a good new version view. From the trailer extra information means seeing every part of the film and it’s a clear view. I think it does make the film more desirable to the audience because it is a good film and people would like to go and watch it. Fromwatching The trailer, you get a better idea of what the film is about because it includes clips from the main star from when he was a baby, to now, it shows a bit about his home life, and the life that he lives now, etc. This helps make the film more desirable, especially to the main target audience as most of them would like to see a famous celebrity’s story, from the beginning. Using an internet trailer to promote the film helps the film company gain attention from a larger audience, perhaps especially those who hate the main star, e.g., adults. It also helps to bring attention to the audience, as most people would rather watch a trailer over the internet, rather than pay attention to a movie poster that they may walk past, even if the movie seems interesting to watch.
